Tools for gamify an e-learning course in Moodle LMS system

I have been an e-learning developer and expert for 17 years. Now I am head of the e-learning development unit in educational department of National Tax and Customs Administration and PhD student in Óbuda University Doctoral School on Safety and Security Sciences. Before I was an external tutor in Ágoston Trefort Centre for Engineering Education where I taught ICT and educational technology knowledge for the students.

Nowadays gamification is a trendy phrase. You can sell everything with this word. But the true is that, gamification is not a magic what solve everything.
In my presentation I try show gamify a training section is not equal that we build an educational game. It means we use a lot of game elements during the education and use some game-design techniques during the planning section.
Moodle is one of the biggest open source learning management system in the world. The system is modular structure and lots of extensions (plugins) can be downloaded from the official website. Some of these plugins allow it to gamify our Moodle course and I try to present them through examples which were used in a real course in National Tax and Customs Administration.
